I've fallen back into the rut of playing catch-up, but today need to fast forward to present-day.

I have been obsessed recently (maybe 2 months) with finding bunk beds for the girls on craigslist and I do believe we've hit the jackpot! On Monday this week I found a listing for a great set and when I inquired I was the first (of many, apparently) to make contact about it. They lived 45 minutes away which isn't super close, but it was worth the drive.

I was a bit picky with the must-haves: great condition, wood, white, twin-over-twin, under $250. And that's what we got... plus some.

Beautiful bunk beds! (and beautiful quilts, right Grandma I?)

 even one whole drawer dedicated to puzzles!

And the best current news: the girls slept really well in them. For Eva, it's only been one night, but Sofia didn't get out (or fall out) last night, and went down for her nap without a hitch. Sweet! Two big girls in this house now, people!

Oh the beautiful memories, joyful laughs and happiness that will (hopefully) come with sharing this room, now sharing their sleeping space.

PS. Can you believe they were only asking $200 for all of this? I still can't.
